I know what motivated me and helped me overcome my skepticism during my first year, was seeing the $18,000 per month checks that my upline received.
In many network marketing companies, you will not get to see the income of your sponsors.
I have been privileged to see that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary goals with a company like this, and my goal is set at $10,000 per month by the year 2010. If it happens faster, that is fine too. I have so many people I want to help with the money -- my sons, my Mom, other family members, and I want to be able to donate to disasters like Katrina without having to think, can I afford this?

Negative Attitude to Network Marketing
In 1996, I did not know very much about Network Marketing. In fact, my attitude towards Network Marketing was quite negative.
I trusted my close friend, Trudy, who I had known for many years. At first I was very skeptical but when I tried some samples, and felt increased energy and well-being within days, I realized there was more to these products and this company than I had thought. Trudy became my sponsor.
I still remained skeptical about the company and about Network Marketing.
I became passionate about the Nutrition and Regeneration I was experiencing.
I lived close to Jim, upline to us, who had been with this company over 10 years at that time (now it is almost 20 years). I would go to Jim's meetings to learn more about these amazing formulas, and sample more of the healthy drinks and healthy snacks.
He would often talk about the products and nutrition for almost 2 hours, which I loved. Jim would spend about 15 minutes speaking about Network Marketing and the business. Whenever he talked about these subjects, Trudy and I would sit there and wait impatiently for him to get back to "the good stuff" -- the information about Regeneration!
Well, after a while, as I started to enthusiastically share the wonderful nutrition I had discovered, I started to receive an income.
Then I started to pay more attention to what Jim told us about the business! Am I ever happy that I did!
Jim did say that he used to think that Network Marketing was what people did when they "couldn't find a real job"! In spite of those original thoughts ----He became one of the top income earners in Canada!
Out of 100 people, only about 10 will be interested in doing the business. Out of 100, only about 2 people will be successful in Network Marketing.
The 3-Foot Rule
I want you to know that I will NOT try to persuade or convince you to do the business!
In fact, I was appalled when I heard about the Network Marketing 3-Foot Rule (which means that you share the Business Opportunity with anyone who comes within a 3-foot radius of you).
That is, and never will be, my style.
(Also, if you are with another Network Marketing company, please do not contact me with your offer, because I am so happy with my company, I am definitely not looking for another company. Thank you).
